This course is designed for dentists and dental students who wish to deepen their knowledge and clinical skills in DIRECT AND SEMI-DIRECT POSTERIOR RESTORATIONS.
This theoretical and practical course focuses on the main clinical challenges involved in posterior restorations, with particular emphasis on achieving effective contact points, preventing postoperative sensitivity, reproducing natural posterior anatomy, and optimizing the use of Bulk-fill composites.
The course also covers the semi-direct restoration technique, from tooth preparation, impression-taking and model fabrication to finishing, polishing and cementation. The hands-on component provides participants with the opportunity to apply practical protocols for both direct and semi-direct posterior restorations, including Onlay restorations.
